Naksika ski area is always one of the first resorts to open each season in Canada and it is FAST, really FAST! It was originally designed for the 1988 winter Olympics, and the steep, hard packed, speedy & sporty conditions are the perfect way to get back into the groove of skiing. Of course, I took the sportiness a little too far, but I just can't resist the call of some greenery. Opening day at Sunshine Village in Banff National Park was insane this season. This is a sign of really good things to come this season for Alberta and British Columbia.
